Paint fade - pink boot spoiler

Featured Replies

Boot spoiler is turning pink on my Red vRS. Obvious fix would be a respray but i was thinking maybe vinyl wrap of sorts or replacing with an aftermarket wing? Looking for pictures of modified there wing or replaced it :)

Are you sure it can't be cured by a man and a polisher?

its beyond polishing

What polish have you tried? Could it be the clearcoat yellowing making it look pink.

paint correction, you would be suprised what can be done!!!

G3 compound and a good buffer, brought mine back to life after it was pink when i got it,

A valeter that actually knows how to use a buffer can work wonders

compound it m8 and u see the diff

Guess its unanimous. Best try compound

The spoiler has no laquer thats why it fades.

Machine polish and good wax will bring it back to life

This guy speaks the truth.

I mopped the whole car when I got it (yellow), and the only part which left the pad yellow was the spoiler. Must be painted at a differetn factory. The spoiler was almost white, but now looks near perfect.
