Well I visited the dealer on Thursday, a surprise drop in. I now have 14 weeks lying on with no sign of a build week. Yet again I changed my order adding the spare wheel option. I also asked him about electric folding mirrors having read about them on the forum and seeing the dealer saying they were part of the Elegance spec. The guy checked several documents then said they were def NOT. I think the only thing I've got to look forward to is this goodwill £150 in another 4 weeks. I do find it strange the way some orders seem to slip through and others take longer. The first 3 months have flown by but now it's starting to drag.... hope I can survive!

Well in another thread recently it has been confirmed that Elegance spec get elec folding mirrors as standard

As for your order, I hope you get news soon.

On ours we haven't change the factory specs at all and it looks like it's going to take a month longer than 1st told and there is someone on here that ordered after us and picked it up last week.

I would expect that if someone kept changing their order then their car would be dropped down the factory build list.

Thanks for that. Before I added or changed my order the Sales Manager checked and assured me that it would not cause any delay with my order. He said no problem with any more changes etc, it is fine to change until you get a build date.

I really hope he's right...... but this is the guy who said there were no elec folding mirrors as standard on the Elegance spec!!

They must be watching the forum - I've just been given a build week - Week 27

She has now been built and is on her way to me. I suspect the next few weeks will pass rather slowly now there is an end in sight.
