2600 miles to date - now just clicked over the 3k mark

However we are talking about a difference of potentially 3k pounds, and between a used car and a new one? When you buy a new car you lose the tax you paid on it the second you drive it away.

Just my opinion but if the author of this thread wants to sell their 'used car' then perhaps they need to price it like used car not a new one.

Normally I would 100% agree, however some dealers are currently selling ex-demo cars for the list price of a new car, simply because "you can drive away in it today".

A couple of things to consider for the true value of the car would be:

What would the list price be on such a specced car?

What are ex-demo similarly specced cars selling for?

That's some difference from the £14k you were offered by your local franchised dealer New Skoda deals. Probably best just to keep your vRS and enjoy it.

Yes, a little surprised and confused by the harsh retorts, however I respect all feedback. May be because you don't know me personally - I'll have to come to some of the meets to see you face to face.

I understand and appreciate the price I'm asking, of course in view of taking sensible offers. If someone wants that spec they'll make me an offer, if no-one wants it then I'll keep it or trade it in. It wouldn't be the first time someones paid over the top for THE car they wanted would it?

Anyway the car's still for sale if anyone wants to view, drive and buy! At least the banter will keep the thread near the top of the forum!
