Where did you mount the camera? - was it on a tripod right behind the front seats?

Just cut a piece of wood and tie wrapped it to headrest metal bars in the pas-seat,then clamped the camera to it.now't like keeping it simple

Cool - have done it too once with a steel bar at a track event but it was too shaky. :(

I opted for a metal arm with a sucker at one end that can be placed right on the windscreen which is perfect but I still want to find a good spot that will show my hands as well as the track with not a lot of vibration.
