10000K would be past blue and heading into purple IMO, the pics of 12K HIDs I've seen look pretty much like shining your headlights through a bottle of Ribena. Surprised he's not been pulled and told to remove them.

I had them tints on my Toyota. But mine went dark when sun hit them and lighter at night.
