hi im new to the forum - havent been on since i bought my last Fabia 1.4 Classic 7 years ago?

two questions I have for Fabia 1.2 owners...

I have paid £4,800 for a 2008 Fabia 1.2 1 60 (has air con)- 24,500 on clock, is this a good price? and are there any things that may go wrong i.e. weaknesses in this model. your comments would be very useful.

my old Fabia had done 129,000 and hardly a thing went wrong apart from some electronic faults when i first got it. very reliable sad to see it go.

Sounds pretty reasonable assuming it was from a main dealers?

1.2 is a sound little engine, wont give you any nasty surprises so long as its maintained properly

I echo pipsyp's assessment. Very very good motor, the Mk2's don't have any intrinsic faults...even the Mk1's were better than average too as you found out. Good luck with your car, enjoy!
