:notme:

I pick up my GTB2260VK at the weekend.

Reckon I'll be making around 230bhp on it.

Ive been told that a Blue SE Fabia vrs that comes down to a meet in Stockport is apparently a 400bhp jabbasport built fabia, anyone shed any light on that?

It isn't 400bhp.

:rofl::rofl:

If that's true, I'd like to know why they only offered me 270 bhp. :giggle:

it cant be diesel ...

What a waste... Use it and abuse it

So basically your saying to rag it everywhere ?

I'll know not to buy any of your cars in future....

I'm saying it's a waste to spend thousands to double the power of the car with lots of goodies including a LSD and then be worried about breaking it so don't use it to its full potential... I may rag my cars/bikes but they're maintained well with pretty much no expense spared on them, not that you was ever gunna buy a car of mine anyway...

Im not that clued up on fabia engine, but i assumed he probs meant 400 torques personally.

Not necessarily a waste, spending thousands and making the car like **** off a shovel doesn't mean you have to give it death everywhere !

It's good to know the power is there as and when it's needed and not to drive like a tool all the time and to be basically shouting "look at me my car is really really fast, come on policeman pull me over, I'm driving like a tit"

How often do you see someone with say a skyline driving at 150mph everywhere ? Most likely not !

Who said about driving flat out everywhere on a public road? I'm talking about being too scared to take it down a 1/4 strip in case something breaks...

Putting a car down the drag strip is a hell of a lot of strain on the car, especially running more than double the standard power. The gearbox wont like full 1st gear even second gear launches.

Who cares who has the biggest BHP figures on Brisk. Figures are just pub talk. We know who has big power on this site. As long as the car puts a smile on your face, whether its power or the fact you are getting 50mpg then jobs a gooden.

Lots of people?

When I didn't know much about the Fabia I asked my mate (who had a Fabia) what power is possible out of them and he said he thinks someone got 220bhp out of one on Briskoda but wasn't sure. After going through tons of threads we found Jason's who was 233bhp at the time I believe.

Now as an experienced Briskoda member I can point out a list of cars that might make the top 10 but I'm still not sure and I find it interesting know who's running what. I don't see what harm it does by having a top 10 or whatever list of the highest powered Fabia's on here... We're all aware that RR's read differently and the figures have to be taken with a pinch of salt but it's still nice to see regardless. If it's not your cup of tea then move to the next thread in line which is much more interesting: Cost of Rear Discs & Pads

there is a quick blue se one going around although i got told it has around 250bhp and he runs a 100bhp shot of NOS aswell

I'd be interested to see the set up on that, as he'd need the uprated injectors etc.. to get the fuel in for 350bhp all the time even if it's got a switchable map, allowing it not to smoke like pig when not running the NOS.

It's not so easy to add a big shot of NOS to a diesel as a petrol.

PMSL! I have a 100 shot of NOS as well but funnily enough its not 100bhp of power added! :giggle:

Like I say it's all speculation at the mo as ive only heard about it. If I see him around ill try have a nosey over it.

Go on then fella, put me down. 251.5bhp
