I want to respray my wing mirror covers as mine have been painted silver. How do you get the covers off? Had a quick look couldn't see, figure it out.

My car is corrida red how good are the rattle cans to matching original paint? I know red can be a bugger to match in, and i have seen a corrida red rattle can with laquer on ebay. So i was going to spray my mirrors and my chrome grill.

Another thing is i am getting my spiders refurbed in black so i was contemplateing painting my grill and and mirrors black but i can't decide between red or black.

Pretty sure there's a guide on uk-mkivs.net on removing the covers. As far as i can remember they just unclip from the lower front edge. Get spray cans from an auto trade paint supplier as they'll colour match for you.

Remove the glass and you will see 2 screws, remove them and the cover unclips.
