VCDS also called VAG-COM is a lead attatched to a laptop which plugs in to a port under the steering wheel to the left , this interfaces with the cars diagnostics and you can change various settings on the car. If you order your car with maxidot dials ( yours currently is a trial) then you can alter there or with vag com, a dealer will do for free at handover but will charge after that, list of members on here with it, alter stuff for a pint ( http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/74720-list-of-vag-com-diagnostic-system-vcds-owners/ :thumbup:

iam on my no 3 skoda was thinking of buying a octavia 1.2 o 1,4 tsi dealer said they are both good engines

thats if it fits on my drive my mates keep telling why buy skoda untill i taken both of them then out in mine

now one of them have got a skoda say now more pete
