What other vagcom tweaks can ya do other then putting the bleep on locking and unlocking? Anything worth doin?

Thought there was a Fabia I VCDS sticky in this section, but obviously not as I've just checked!

You can also set the length of time the rear demister and most importantly the heated mirrors are on for. Only took me 7 years to stumble across that option after the mirrors are damaged due to leaving them on all the time.

It's black magic I tell you.

Amongst other things, You can piddle around with the wipers and the drip stroke interval .

The default times and function of the heated mirrors and rear screen can be altered.

The amount of flashes of the one touch indicator.

You can probably mess about with the delay of the interior lights too.

Activating all doors unlocking with SINGLE click of remote is useful. Had it on my car for ages now.

Anti-hijack is useful if you live in down town Beirut.

Anti-hijack is just a sensible option, no matter where you are.

Not a problem. Try going to the VCDS section and there's a sticky there listing people's locations with VCDS. I'm sure you'll find someone local who'll assist.

I'm in SE Kent as well... so it all depends where you are in Kent.

You can also change the alarm siren, SWMBO's alarm sounds exactly like mine did. As hers (Suzuki) has a habit of going off whenever anything bigger than a Matiz passes by, I can now differentiate which car it is, And act (or not) accordingly.

Agree about anti-hijack. Criminals rely on the fact that you think no-one's going to bother trying to come open the doors - element of surprise.
