Will never get why people think 100k miles is high mileage and the end of a car's life.

I part-exed my Golf TDI in 2007 for my Leon TDI, the Golf had 133k on the clock. Last I checked a couple of months ago, it was still on the MID so it must be still on the road or at least up until very recently. Obviously I dunno what milage it's on now, but it's still going somewhere and 4 years after I part-chopped it on 133k it must be pretty astronomical by now! Granted it was the 90bhp non-VNT, non-PD model, but still it's a good run for a VW TDI

Hehe ... current/disposal mileage for my parents vehicles: 193k, 198k, >250k (the first 2 are petrols, the last a non-TDi van). Only problems, other than wear-and-tear, had been bodywork (approx 20 years old), and an emissions failure.

My work don't do leasing so vehicles are purchased up front and have a minimum of 10 years on the fleet to make sure they pay for themselves.

Given regular maintenance we have transits on 300k and 3 series Beemers on 250k.

So I don't at all believe 100k is the end, those days are long gone, but it's still a big milestone.

Mines currently on 143,000 and still going strong (I've covered 33,000 miles in 2 years)

106k and going strong here, and i have the 100,000 picture to prove my achievements lol im sad like that getting all the 999,999 etc love it

126000k got it at 64000k two and a half years ago.

Only another 150,000 to go, then.
