What's The Boost Pressure?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what the Turbo boost pressure is with the Revo 4bar software?

I've heard that it's 1.2bar, is that correct?

That would shorten the lifetime of the turbo from what i've read on some threads in the performance & maintenance forums.

Cheers,

FD

thought it only went to 1.0 / 1.1?

ring a revo dealer?

I did and they said the max boost pressure is 1.2-1.3 bar.

Now that sounds a little too much for me, I haven't measured it but I thought that maybe someone in the Briskoda forum have.

Please fill me (and the others) in with the "real" details.

Cheers,

FD

I heard 1.3

I can tell that the turbo surely whistles like it's 1.3 bar  with the Revo 4bar software.

I've read on a couple of posts that everyone is "boosting" their turbos to 1bar (APR Chip) others to 1.2bar (Abt Chip), but I wonder if the APR isn't the most reliable of them all!?

Cheers,

FD
