If I decide to put her back on the road, I'll do that. At the moment she lives at the back of the driveway, looking all sad and SORN'd. :(

Might get her out soon, wash, spray the wing-mirror housings yellow (silver at the moment, from the doner that gave me electric mirrors), sort out the back bumper, give her a wash, checkout the summer cover, and then think very hard about what to do next with her.......

Ask to have the locking wheel nuts etc put to the underwriters as any underwriter with half a brain will lok at most of those and say they stop the wheels getting nicked. Truckman will stop the things being nicked form the boot etc

I agree. But most of these brokers are THICK. Yonks ago I had an old Vauxhall 2000(was a Victor, so that's how old) . Someone had replaced the brake master and servo with those from the 3L one,so braking was very enhanced and I'd fitted wider tyres for more grip, & MPG).Phoned up to see if I qualified for any discount -no .Enhance -they want more dosh. Make safer /more secure - no way .

Again , aproximately three years ago ,I told my insurance company I'd been made redundant. I'd paid the premium in full ,just in case of problems. Had to go to the underwriters to see if I qualified. As I was claiming Pension credit and not Jobseekers, I did .
