Door and dash strips are from OctyNik's L&K. MFD surround is a beautiful custom job by Deepcar Autobodies. May change the gear knob, not sure.

Nice mod imo.

Yeah that looks great. I swapped my silver stereo surround for a black one, though it's only matte, it's nice having the darker cab area.

very nice

Presumably you did the rear doors too?

Also, the new style gear knob insert would complement the interior nicely, black with just a silver outline.

Nice.

Is that a VW?

;)

what a way to cheapen the look of a superior motor putting a VW badge in it :giggle:

Trim looking good but im happy with the standard but im sure I will take a mood some day and try this too :D

very smart and classy looking that, much better than the pretend alu plastic on the car.

Nice work Nick, maybe needs a little one in front of gaitor to marry it up, and you could ask Pasty boy to make you a black /chrome skoda badge for your wheel

Yeah, rear doors done. Thought about one of the new black gear knobs, but I'm not sure about the chrome.

Gloss black looks very smart.... I would also get gear gaiter surround and ashtray lid refinished to harmonise whole area... I am planning to change mine to piano gloss finish but in a really deep red

Very nice!

Good mod! Like it a lot!

I'm hearing very good things about Deepcar Autobodies too

I actually went the other way on my 4x4 swapping matte black to silver - ties the whole dash together much better IMHO - each to thier own though eh?

That gloss black does look nice though - does it scratch easily (a consideration for anyone with small kids...)

I like the steering wheel. Would love to change mine, but I think for the cost and hassle I will just wait until I need a newer car :giggle:

Black gloss looks good too

How much work is involved in swapping over to the GTI wheel? It looks awesome.

The trim looks equally as good :D

Definitely an option

Dave's a legend. Such a nice bloke.

The OEM L&K bits are terrible for scratching to be honest. You do have to be careful with them.

Straight forward swap Harry. Thread here... http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/204010-mk6-flat-bottom-mfsw/page__st__20

That looks so nice OP, really classy! Need to keep an eye open myself for the bits ;)

No, the fl L&K ashtray etc are gloss black.

Didn't use any wrap, but I can imagine it would be a reasonable way of doing it. You'd still have to have the inserts out to do it properly though.

Ah I see only seen VRS FLs  , so they are painted then, top job, are you going to the midlands meet tonight to show it off

iirc Brimma has explored the gloss black theme, very nice imo.
