Yeah gotta say, I used V-Power the first time then noticed the price difference between V-Power and Momentum... been using momentum as it's easier for me to get hold of, its 99 ron and not 98 ron like the v-power (feel free to correct me if i'm wrong) and it's cheaper??? Why wouldn't you?

i think vpower is 99 ron now, however like i said mpg seems better with momentum, as for performance i did not feel any difference, so momentum 99 for me it is. It also contains the cleaning chemicals that vpower does so i will stick to momentum 99 as i get better mpg no loss in perfomance over vpower and its abou 4-5p/litre cheaper.

i am sure a while back when it was tesco 99 it came out best in a test with all the premium fuels. However at that time vpower was only 98 ron and called optimax.

It's nice to see fuel prices dropping but they've still got a long way to go before I'd think they were cheap. Less than £1.20 would be good

Agreed - I am nearing my 2nd fill up in my car so would be nice to see it drop before I need some lol

Lowest price in this area (Swansea SA4):

Unleaded - 131.90p

Diesel - 134.90p

Super Unleaded - 137.90p

LPG - 82.90p

Now that the vRS has to run on Super they do need to drop it a bit more

I remember when I could fill up my 1 litre fiesta for not much more than a tenner !

I use VPower when ever possible, have not tried the tesco 99 momentum, i sounds like a lot of people are running it well with the vRS.

Lets hope fuel prices continue to drop for a bit.

Good shout, I just got momentum from Tesco at 138.9p per litre. (which at my local Tesco is cheap because it was 141.9 last week!)

just purchased Diesel for 132.7p/litre at Asda St Austell PL25

We're (Kent) around 5p more for Diesel and Petrol @ 137.9 and 135.9 respectively, but that is at the local Shell as I drove past earlier...

V-Power Diesel is 147.9 and V-Power Petrol 143.9 iirc

Costs me 68p a litre for 98 high octane and thats considered expensive.

It used to be about 55p 4 years ago.
