Fabia Owners Fuel Consumption (sticky topic requested please)

Featured Replies

Thought it might be nice to have a single post, pinned topic featuring MPG sig images (courtesy of Fuelly.com) grouped by Fabia II model.

I'll do my best to add any I spot in other forum threads but if you'd like yours added (or removed) please drop me a PM. I just need to know the number in the link ending with .png (e.g. fuelly.com/sig-uk/78272.png) Details about setting up a sig image are available in their FAQ here: http://www.fuelly.com/faq/23/Fuelly-forum-signature-badge

Someone shout if there's a better way to organise them please?

Apologies for my ignorance about the rest of the range.

  • 2 weeks later...

You can add mine, although let me know if you want the format changed and Ill do it in fuelly.

Great idea :thumbup::thumbup:

Can't get it from your profile pacman70, need you to create and share the .png

Does Fuelly provide an option for L/100km? or is it only MPG?

Does Fuelly provide an option for L/100km?

Yes, and I see you've joined.

Yip! ;) noticed that there was an option for metric :) I will give this a shot but I'm slightly confused with some parameters. (for example partial fill up etc - I will need to do some reading).

You can track using your odometer (current mileage) or trip (miles since last fuel up) and should you for any reason not be able to fill the tank, the partial option allows the system to ignore those details when calculating your stats.

Added my Fabia Greenline II estate to fuelly

Oh dear. Run in to a technical hitch with this idea. There's a limit on the number of images you can include in a post.

I'd started adding on the small metric sig image for the benefit of those using l/km rather than uk mpg.

I'm happy to knock up a web page with the images in but that'll obviously be off briskoda.net :(

By the way mine is not a TSI - its a naturally aspirated engine (BXW).

This is mine only done 1 fuel up though 51284.png

Thanks. Added and reorganised a little. Still need help with categorising please.

I've also removed all but one of the little L/KM images for now due to the limit on how many images can be included in a single post. Apologies to anyone not UK MPG, hopefully it'll still serve as a comparitive guide until I/we figure out a better way to do it.

I thought I'd add Briskoda.net to my Fuelly car profile pic so hopefully anyone browsing Fabias on there who hasn't already hear of Briskoda will head on over.

Have to say I'm rather surprised by the results.

Thought the other diesles would be making better MPG.

Just copy and paste in the signature bit, rather than the HTML bit.
