Just ordered my new Superb (170 estate Elegance) as a company car and was very surprised that the delivery date is three weeks! Obviously there are a few kicking around in the UK unsold? Been checking out all the reviews online and on here and am quite excited. Currently have a golf so should notice the difference in the size!

You obviously have got lucky with a cancelled order - it may even have a few extras they you did not specify

They take approximately 3 weeks to get from the factory to be ready at the dealers following their PDI.

Mine was very nearly cancelled whilst it was at the dealers as they were making such a balls up in 'attempting' to deliver the car, I am not the only one who was tempted/did cancel so late into the wait.

There comes a time when you say enough is enough and walk away, most of this is down to poor communication from the dealers, if they were just upfront at the time of ordering and said there is a 26 week wait for the car then you know where you stand, rather than state 12-14 weeks when in reality there was never any chance of a a car built to your exact specification arriving in that time.

It's a great car and certainly an improvement over the Golf (SWMBO has one).

Like Gizmo says, you've been lucky and will probably get a cancelled order with some extras you didn't order with it!

I ordered mine 2 weeks ago and still don't have a build date but could have to wait "up to 25 weeks".

Mine has been delayed another month according to dealer - mid November now, might come before Xmas??

There doing some deals at the moment on company lease. I was offered three different colours but all same spec at three weeks lead time. The cost was also very good with a monthly lease similar to 20k golf and £100 cheaper than 24k passat!! Needed an estate so seems a no brainer!
