some loose wires

Featured Replies

Hi

I'm hoping someone can help. The other day some lovely person tried to steal my diesel Felly. They made a terrible job of it, and had actually taken the owners manual out of the glovebox and had a look through! Chapter 4 How To Hot-wire This Vehicle!

Anyway, they ripped the cover off the steering column and mangled the wiring. I've put most of it back, and as far as I can tell, everything electrical works fine, but I'm left with two wires, brown-and-white and black-and-white, with nowhere immediately obvious to connect them. The airbag warning light is now permanently on, so i was wondering if they were the wires for that, or if that was just a fault code from the other wires that had been disconnected? Haynes manual is as useful as ever, and I've searched on here to no avail.

I can post pictures if that will help

Cheers

Do the wires have connectors on them? And are the connectors yellow?
