cheers mate going in for op sunday 17th now so i think i will just miss delivery

The wife had a new fabia deliver from the factory in less than 2 weeks after is was build. Guess it may depend on when the boat sails

They must have just released a batch of UK Roomsters as I had a call from the dealer yesterday telling me my week 28 (11 July) build car is on the boat.

that seems odd as mine was a week 25 build and on 23 june it was saying in transit to port :wonder: just rang suk and they said it was on the boat today :wonder:

Had the "at Emden" status on my car now (apparently it's previous status was on ship but it is going backwards). So if it is on the next vessel out, The City of Amsterdam, it should reach Tyne docks at Noon on 13/7/11

Tracked the next vessel out of Emden bound for Tyne docks, which was the "City of Amsterdam", update from dealer 2 days after it docked, "your car is at is at Tyne docks". Latest update, the car should be here by the end of the week however they are making some not to encouraging noises about what the trade in value of my old car will be, let the games commence!

thanks rob all ok got home after 6 days got my wife to ring rainworths mansfield about car,returned call from rainwrth will be bringing my car to me tue or thurs.wife then said they want to talk to me about reg number ! asked if i wanted any letters on i said would be nice to have grankids H F L and T job done well done rainworth so far.

well i get my roomster se 1.2 tsi 105 tomorrow 27/07/11 (ordered 23/04/11) 50 yrs old and my first new car. cannot drive the car untill sept 3rd due to my heart bypass i know i should have waited for 61 plate but needed something to play with for the 12 weeks i will be off work.thankyou to you all for all the info and advice sure i will be back asking for more info very soon.
