Ok we took delivery last saturday (25-6-11) 1.8 elegance 4x4 estate. KESSY, heated screen, auto dim rear mirror, heated nozzles, sunset glass and option wheels. since car is MY12 it has new option wheels i'm not sure about these, what do you guys think? On a brighter note nobody has said the columbus plays dvd's wot a toy.

Personally I like the Luxon option wheels, though prefer the Luxon Anthracite.

Yep. It is a nice little touch to have in the car. On our trip a few weeks ago I surprised the wife by putting in a DVD to watch as we were sitting waiting for a delayed ferry from Dover on our way home. It stopped her complaining of being bored.

Believe me, spending 2.5 hours at Dover port amid line upon line of cars is not the most exciting place in the world.

However, while stretching my legs and walking around a bit, I also played spot the Superb, and counted 2 (not including mine). 1 with Latvian plates (twindoor) and one with British plates (combi).

Very happy with it, its our 3rd Skoda a Fabia vRS 05, then the Octavia Scout 08, now the Superb ordered the option wheels for easy cleaning ( less spokes and not double spoked ) lol come with next year model option wheel twin spoked and more. 9 double spoke instead of standard 7 double spoke, that backfired a little never mind lovely car ordered cars mats online wating for delivery now. Then dog guard and will also need towbar have bought caravan since we orded the car oh well these things happen

Found your gallery pictures. Based on the brochure wheel pictures I marginally preferred the Luxons, but having seen them on a car I'm leaning towards the Themistos if I go for a Superb as my next car. But I'd have either of these over the Lunas. Enjoy your new car

I have Luxon's fitted with Winter tyres - a waste of a great wheel? maybe, but the price was right!

I do prefer them to the Thermisto's, but are harder to keep clean...

I quite like some of the new option wheels although I do think that 18s can look a bit lost in the arches of the Superb - 19s would look a lot better (already plotting some alternate VAG ones for ours)

Played spot the Superb a few days ago only to find there is three round my way! A saloon like ours in Wheathampstead and two combi`s - one of which lives within about 400 yards of us!

Altho - just had a look on the Skoda UK website at the accesories and guess what alloys wheels it says are available for the Superb - 15" Aviors! think they would looks totally inappropriate!
