1st Service

Featured Replies

I got the Fab it's first service today with 4500 miles on the clock and was charged £173, does this sound about right.

Sounds about right however alot of people have had 1st service for £100 or less. Its only and oil/filter change.

Too much. I paid around £100 and thought that was expensive.

I reckon anywhere around £100 for 1st service and about £200 for the second?

HOW MUCH??? :o

I paid £118. What you paid is a scandal!

I would question the dealer as to why the price was so high. My Fabia cost me just £76.80 all in for the first service at my Skoda main dealer. To be fair, this is now £79.80 as the price has gone up since mine was serviced. £173 sounds excessive. Query it with Skoda UK if the dealer is not willing to discuss.

It wasn't a Skoda dealer as they wanted £108 per hour for a service.

although you dont have to by law anymore I would have thought with a brand new car you may as well keep it with main skoda dealers as looks better for resale. sounds like by going outside the network you have been ripped off.

sorry.
