Howdy.

Coil light just started flashing on dash display. Im guessing its just one of the coils has went? happened to my mk4 golf turbo a couple of times, just a simple take out, put new one in case. Anyone had this problem/shed any light if its anything else? thanks.

I think that might mean you have a broken brake light...., or maybe the switch on the pedal isn't working and thus no brake lights at all.

Certainly not a coilpack on a TDI :-)

oops I mean glowplug. haha. Yeah the back lights aren't working, must be the switch. Just noticed this has already been posted so delete this post if required. Thanks

The switches seem to be quite a common failure. Get a new one, they twist fit in and hopefully that will fix the problem
