I've montified my headlights

Got the Silvatecs in yesterday and replaced all the blinkers. I'm slightly disappointed though

During the day they look great as you don't get the fried egg effect and the headlights/tailights look much more "clean/tidier".

My issue is that they are not bright enough as the standard ones (the fact they are slightly more orangy than yellow doesn't bother me) but during the day I find that a problem.

I will post some pics when it gets dark to give you an idea.

You talking about Phillips Silvertech bulbs???

Had them on my MKI for 8years now...never had a problem.......and they are supposed to be very orange when they light up!!!

I have always found that the change of an unlit silver look lens to an orange lit lens is more noticable than from an unlit fried egg look (is it on??) to a lit orange lens!!! especially in bright sunlight as the light tends to catch the unlit orange bulb and makes it look lit!!!! B)

Will have a look for the ones you just mentioned.

Unfortunately I wont be able to copy you with an all black fabia, away to pick up a green with black roof :D Cracking pics tho, should look much better when the silver indicators go in!

The Philips silvertec ones look better than the Osram Diadems which have a blueish tinge when unlit.

This is where I get mine from!! B)

P.S. Phillips and Osram make the best bulbs....win lots of awards etc and they makes theirs very well!!
