While I was cleaning my vrs tonight i noticed 2 strange patches of discolouration. A bit faded to rest of the paint. Upon touching it, it felt less smooth as the other paintwork. Tried to give it a wipe but didnt budge.

Has anyone had similar problems, if so what was the outcome?

Could it be contamination from the underseal/body panel wax picked up as you washed it?

Maybe the valet has not been done properly? If he missed that spot with the wax I suppose it could be less smooth....

Try waxing those spots and seeing if any color comes off onto the cloth...if its still there , id suggest a chat to the dealer would be in order...

sounds like either wax or a flaw in the laquer....?

try buffing it... if no you spk to your "stealership" about a warranty fix:)
