could anybody tell me if you can replace just inner cv joint pas side or does it only come with drive shaft!! i have 2002 oct vrs engine code auq

As far as I am aware mate it comes in one piece

You can get just the inner CV joint kit.

Check for leaking oil seals whilst you're there.

My Haynes said that inner tripod CV-joint cant be taken off, but that's not true...

It's quite easy: Loosen hubnut, jack up, wheel off, take off three lower balljoint nuts(better to buy new balljoint locking plate before), take hubnut off, take bolts off from transmission flange, turn hub away and take driveaxle off.

Then take the metal shield off from the end of the inner CV and then there's a small lockring at end of driveaxle... should be able to pull/hammer the joint off now.

When putting all together, make sure lower balljoint is bolted to same position as it was.

ok guys thanks for your help will have a ring round for some prices!! changed boot on it a couple months back but not sure how long other boot had split in!! now is just starting to make a noise so must of got water and grit in there!!
