Morning all,

Just wanted to say howdy and introduce myself as a new Briskoda member having purchased a 2006 56 plate Octavia VRS TDi last Friday (1st July).

Only had the car 3 days but absolutely love it already. Was a Mini Cooper owner previously and that was fun to drive but I'd go as far as to say the VRS is as good a car despite being twice the size. Its a cracking car to drive no matter what the urgency, and was surprised how smooth the ride is despite it being a sports hatchback, although I'm more than spoilt having had a Mini previously, which has go-kart like suspension!

The car is standard but in the next few months I'll more than likely be looking to get it remapped so anyone who can advice on the best place for getting it done in or near South Wales, and sorting out any potential DPF problems/bypass solutions, please let me know.
