Where would I find the plate on a roomster that will give the details of what you can tow and max load weights of the car etc.

What spec does everyone go by with regard to hill starts? I have never seen a choice of trailer weight before on any other vehicle I have had so which 1 would be the norm.

The place to find these data is on the V5c (vehicle registration document) as the manual is a little confusing on this. If you go by the V5c, those are the legal figures.
