Bolero unexplained stations jumps

Featured Replies

Another Bolero with the same problem. I'm going to monitor it for a few days before taking it to the dealer. What I might do is find some way of recording what is going on to demonstrate it.

Even worse is pairing an iPhone to the Bolero. I can be listening to any radio station or SD Card and when I receive a text (or send one) for some reason the Bolero decides to switch my preferred listing source to play music from my iPhone - flipping annoying!! The only way I can get round that is to double press the Home Button (without unlocking the phone) and select to disable playing to the car unit.

Have a problem with Bolero in that without my intervention it jumps to an unrelated station without

me touching any buttons.

It still shows in 'grey' the original station but refuses to return to the original station by re-touching

the original 'greyed' station again.

I generally have to select a completely different station then reselect the original one.

It is not the case of jumping to a similar stronger signal station as the unwanted one's content

is miles apart in what is broadcast. Sometimes a switch off/on is required to resolve.

Anyone had a similar problem?

I have tried pulling the radio fuse to 'reset' it but no improvement.

Bought Yeti in Sept 2010....Have there been any software updates that might fix problem?

Skoda service centre at Camberley have resolved this for me:  see http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/284195-bolero-unexpected-station-jumping-when-tp-on-resolved/
