Mmmmmm :thumbdwn:

:thumbdwn:

Spirited driving is for the countryside, safe away from other road users......

Does it feel nice to abuse the trust given to you by someone lending you their car for which they work damned hard to finance?

If you'd broke it, how would they have got to work today?

And you were in a residential area, and it was dark, and it was freezing, and it was wet.....

most of it was just taking off from traffic lights and it wasnt wet last night and not too cold and the only time were he did boot it was overtaking those too cars.true you you shouldnt go speed through a residential area and we werent cause it was a industral(sp) estate in which we over took them and like i said most it was just wheelspinning off the lights only to about 40mph

What a pair of idiots.

Thrashing the nuts off a borrowed car and driving like a tit on a public road in lousy conditions.

At least he was kind enough to show us the number plate so we know not to buy it second hand......carefull lady owner... :(

Wonder how many of those excuses would get you off if you had been pulled by the police? Oh and you were 'only' doing 70 after overtaking those 2 cars....

And they got video evidence.... :D

Self incrimination is a wonderful thing :D

Not the sort of thing that should be posted on this site me thinks.

Agreed.

Andrew, if this is your idea of a good night then I really think you should find another forum. I'm only glad you were not doing these antics in a skoda.

nice way to treat someone else's car there :thumbdwn:

btw if you had come up against my diesel nova at a set of lights on the bypass ya would'ne av ad a chance boy upto 65 ofcourse as i don't condone speeding in anyway and like to stay just under the limit ;)

Conclusive proof if any were needed, that there's never a :cop: around when you need one.

Keep it for the track, or nice quiet & DRY country roads.

Very sad indeed :(

The words 'Grow up' comes to mind

Tw*ts springs to mind, this very much reminds me of the Rover 75 and clio racing each other down the A4 last night. Very stupid to which I shook my head to. Am I gettin old?

no your not getting old-you just know what is right and wrong to do

So Lorna, as the "youth of today" - which side of the fence are you on?

:thumbdwn:

In a word.....................Stupid

Ian,

ummmmmm. I personally wouldn't go out and do 70mph in whatever limit it was (but certainly way under 70).

Racing cars and overtaking like that going that fast isn't too good an idea either.

And if i was to do that-i would get my own car and do it in that-not a mates's mums car.

Yes at that age you can still have fun-but as long as it is justified and dosen't put anyone at danger.

This all makes me sound really old and grumpy!!

if you lot are all bothered ill pull the video down when i get home then and the video is edited so we didnt just go around the full night ripping the car apart racing down the streets all night.true its stupid ive seen many a accident in my time from boy racers i was even knocked down by one a few years ago.oh and too the comment about no police about the car in front of us when the corsa went by was in fact a police car.the conductions werent bad last night it only started snowing here this morning and we werent chargeing down the road at 70mph like i said the only time we like really sped up was to past those two cars so we were doing 65mph AT THE MOST,and if anyone says that they havent went over the limit a bit to over take someone before then your lieing.i know it was stupid but it only happened this once so dont all jump on my back please

There is speeding when safe , and driving like an idiot. The two are very different things

:iagree: Just because you didnt go over the limit, doesnt mean the driving wasn't wreckless and dangerous.

The video to me looks like a couple of kids have nicked a car a joy rided in it.

And to think it was probably an adult behind the wheel

Advanced driving tuition helps alot with driving fast and safe when the conditions allow. Not just for the fun of it and certainly not in a borrowed car! I would go absolutely mental if I found that someone had gone around driving my car like a looney after trusting it to someone.
