Volkswagen Golf GT for sale

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I'm no longer doing all my motorway driving and trying to leave the UK so have no need for this car. This car has been fantastic and I have loved every moment of ownership!

Please see the full specification and details below:

1 x Black Volkswagen Golf 2.0 GT Tdi 3dr (140bhp)

2006 (56) plate

69,200 miles

Manual 6 speed

1 Previous Owner + Myself

Features:

Car is standard apart from R32 Rear lights (I have the originals and can put it back to standard if required)

Full Service History

18" Charlston Alloy wheels

ABS

Air Con

Central Locking

Folding Rear Sears

The car has just had it's main service which cost £1,107.00 - This included the Cambelt and I got the waterpump done at the same time. (Prone to failing so wanted to be sure)

Bad points:

The previous owner had damaged the front bumper - This is a small scrape on the right hand side and pin hole dent on the front. (You probably wouldn't even notice this but I would rather be honest. Please look at the pictures below)

The car is located in Swindon, Wiltshire.

Please see the recent pictures following on from a detail with Baker:

Many thanks,

Rob.

No longer a feeler thread. Any interest at all?

nice car good luck with the sale they pull like a train these cars, think the price is about right they all tend to fall in the 7.5k to 8.5k mark

This may be a silly question, but is this 140 or 170 bhp?

Not a silly question at all - I forgot to include that in my advert up the top!

This is the 140 version.

GLWS Rob, if you decide to standardize it, let me know how much you want for the R32 rear lights.

Thanks, I wasn't sure as I've never managed to get mg head around VW's naming conventions! GLWTS

Final bump before eBay & Pistonheads next week.

How about a part-ex with my Toledo Rob, with money going my way of course :)

Just think how much you'd save on eBay fees

It's a tempting offer - Let me think about that one and get back to you. (I maybe a while) :dull: .

Auto lights as well Rob emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Best of luck with the sale.

Ah! Good man, I will update the advert.

I'm still in shock with how many people are watching the car itself - I just hope it goes to a good home.

Fingers crossed matey. It is a bit of weird feeling with your own car on eBay. With such a large (and expensive) item sitting there, with the clock ticking :)

Hopefully you'll get some enquiries through the ad, that might lead to a direct sale - and avoid fees ;)
