MOT = happy chap

Featured Replies

Wasn't due until 30 July but put it through yesterday to get it out the way - second one I've put it through since I've had the Fabia and second one it's sailed through with no advisories - not bad going at all for a 7-year-old car with 77.5k on the clock (although anything that needs done gets done straight away) :thumbup: .

Cheers Moggy - glad you're staying to give your technical input - top man :thumbup: .

Mine sailed through the last two no issue, although I noticed a few months prior to last MOT that a wheel bearing was on its way out so had it replaced before anyway - can imagine some turn the stereo up until the MOT person says it needs replacing :D Let the mayhem begin with those who can't be bothered to change bulbs or maintain their cars if they change MOT to every 2 years like they're planning.

You're spot on - I'm against making the MOT bi-annual for that very reason.

Too many people don't give a monkey's about even basic maintenance - they'll drive about with faulty lights until they get a tug from John Law.
