Folding rear seat won't fold

Hi guys, as the title suggests, it appears that the catch is broken as there is no resistance when it is pulled in order to release the seat.

I have seen that others have encountered the same/similar issue before, however, I have not found a definitive solution - is there an EASY fix?

I have just spoken to my local dealer and as usual they "will have to book the car in to investigate!"

Any help is much appreciated!
