Has anyone had any luck selling on the for sale section here? I've just put my fabia vrs up but would I be advised to use pistonheads too? Just wondered how many actually look on this forum for a new car.

I'd also put it on pistonheads too though. Better to have more options.

Use piston heads as well. It cant hurt and its free

I would say it's fairly good at selling on here.

I've bought all 4 of my Skodas from Briskoda

I sold my MKI Superb on here also.

people do both its good to cover all the bases

Thanks, guys. No takers yet but early days. I think it's worth what it's up for but seems a buyer's Market at the moment. I've put an add up on pistonheads too to see how that goes.

Good luck. How comes your selling?

It's hard to say exactly why I'm selling. I think ultimately it's value for money, or lack of it. Don't get me wrong, they are great little cars that have lots of good points, but as a second family car I can't justify having that much money tied up in a car. Will be looking at something bigger and a bit cheaper to free up some cash. I was never quite satisfied with the handling and ride either, but that's me being fussy as they are not bad for the type of car. Utlimately, I get tired of cars quite quickly and like a change.
