Deutsch Wheels

Hello Yetters

Having ordered four wheels and tyres from Mytyres the other day, I got curious about the steel wheels and what sort of standards they are supposed to meet.

We know about the tyres because there's numbers and letters all over them.

I emailed their support and asked the same.

"Everything you need to know is on our website" came back the reply.

Hmmmmmmm

Anyways, I've looked at the new wheels and the numbers and letters stamped into them and they seem reassuringly Germanic.

KBA 43733 is the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (Federal Motor Transport Authority) approval number.

KFZ 9257 denotes Skoda Superb.

Happy now :)
