lol.. its horrible eh? they don't stay new for long... seems to chip quite easy, I have loads now after 12500 miles. :S

I find the paint has chipped very easily on my vrs.

Compared to my old car, this paintjob is very poorly done.

But I suspect it has to do with (after all) that it's a Skoda, they had to save money everywhere...

I find modern paint on all cars pretty rubbish.

They just can't use the chemicals to make it nice and strong like they used to...

Try a 160,000 mile odd car. :D And thats with a lot of my paintwork being a lot fresher than the factory paint....

know how you feel got 4 on my vrs now 2000 miles :(

Only one in 9 months on my wife's

she obviously doesn't rally it enough :p

Paint isn't as strong as it used to be. Suzuki are particularly bad. My parents Swift is covered in them

I think the paint is fantastic but then again I've come from a Honda!

Yes I had a red civic type-r and it was terrible.

At least there is primer/undercoat on this car.

My Renault Clio 200 CUP's bumper got a stone chip and when i washed it about 2 inches of paint came off. There was NO primer whatsoever underneath, just painted staright onto black plastic !!!!

I've done about 11000 miles and the car was covered until I touched them up. Very soft paint. I corrected swirl marks recently with a finishing pad and finishing polish, shows how soft the paint is.

Stonechips - just a fact of life really. If you drive it, you're going to get them emoticon-0108-speechless.gif Depends on the type of roads and traffic you tend to encounter too.

See the ChipEx Group Buy

And a decent sealant and wax combo will at least afford slightly better protection from them.
