Terrific article in today's Daily Mail, page 7, entitled "Skoda Drivers have the Last Laugh"

It is about the latest Which? Car report.

Thanks, but the article in that link is from 2004? :p

try this link instead

:giggle: Cheers-had just found it. Ah well-7 years on & still going strong... :)

What a load of crap. Utilitarian cars? Used to be the butt of jokes blah blah. Why do the mainstream media still drone on in that tired fashion. Just report the results of the survey and be done with it.

Well, it's like when Authorities suddenly wake up to something we've all known about for 20 years!!

:) @ NickP-I guess if it was an article in a motoring mag they would, but unfortunately a lot of 'civilians' or non-Motoring Enthusiasts ARE only waking up to the brilliance of Skodas....;)

Wonder whose phone they hacked to find it out though..... :D

I'm a member of Civinfo..My last car after I traded in my Fabia vRS was a 2.2 Honda Civic Type S GT

The abuse and p*ss takes I get now they know I own a Skoda has now become annoying

I usually dont respond, but its getting harder not to!!

Skoda has come on leaps and bounds. I read that article earlier today and was amused by the stupid comments that some people still feel the need to say. I drive a Skoda as I choose to, anyone who gets a lift with me always compliments me on the interior etc.

So the narrow minded people who cannot get over the past, or think that since they own a BMW they have 'arrived' then they are the fools.

I take no notice of critical comments with regard to the car I drive. For every one person who looks down on you for the car you drive, there are probably more who admire it! Nuff Said!

It's not that many years ago that BMW were producing weird little bubble cars, a fact that seems to be conveniently forgotten now by most badge snobs.
