You know the indicator stalks that click 3 times before auto canceling, is there one available for the Fabia?

I had one in the ST and the the OHs Ibiza has one too so I got quite used too it, and kinda miss it a bit.

Or does anyone know if you retro fit the cruise control does this become available on that stalk?

Oooooor is is programmable via VAGCOM?

The Elegance has both on that stalk.

It's not to do with the stalk its programming in the later central electrics control unit.

I've got it on my 06 1.4 16v and my bro 55 vrs has it too.

its on my 04 fabia vrs too along with cruise.....

To add, you can change the number of clicks too. :p

As said its a feature from 05MY onwards so 04 plate on, cant be turned on by vagcom if its not the right control unit.

I have it on my 2007 1.4 TDI, I would like to fit it on my 2005 1.4 TDI also.

So what do we need to check for and what procedure is required to install it.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Mines an April 2004 so I'll get it plugged into VAGCOM and see what can be done

If you dont have it then you need a new controller, circa 300quid.

No, yours just has a regular flasher relay built into the hazzard switch no control unit.

AFAIK most VAG models with the same style control stalk as Fabia and Mk1 Octavia can be modified to have the 1 touch 3 blink feature.

The VW part nos. to get this feature are:-

Relay: 000 953 227 A

Loom/Kit: 000 998 229 A

Don't think it is too expensive either.

000 998 229 A is the kit and includes the relay, relay socket with pigtail loom, crimps, a cable tie and instructions.

In theory, you should put the relay socket in the relay plate but as the pigtail is fairly short, it often gets secured behind the dash somewhere.

There are just 5 wires to connect.
