fabia vrs no power

Featured Replies

As above flat as a part when driven. No fault codes present. Unplugged maf sensor made it worse so ruled tht out. No black smoke when under load. Anyone any ideas. Its my mates car so will be looking at it tomorrow might

So far im thinking:

Egr valve stuck open

Vnt rod seized

Split in vacuum hose

Faulty vacuum box

Turbo???

If it's not black smoking, it's not over-fuelling, so I don't think it's the turbo, and it's certainly not the MAF, MAP, or a popped boost hose.

Anyone else throw up any opinions before I take alook

Its very weird how there's no fault codes but it is in limp mode. Has it been scanned with VCDS as a lot of the cheaper scanners can not get everything.

My mate has scanned it so unsure ill.be scanning it with kts 2nite so hopefully will show something up. If I disconnect the battery, how long do I have to wait for ecu to reset its self? Also will the steering angle sensor need recalibrating?
