My sdi has decided it wont use the remote fob to unlock ro lock doors on either key. I think it needs reseting (mums pasat did once).

Whats the squence of things you need to do? (I remember it used to be a matter of opening door leaving key in igntion on for 30 sec then pressing unlock on it 3 times or somthing like that). What is it for the fabia? Yes I have tryed new batteries

Use the key to open the door then insert the key in ignition and turn ignition on (but not engine) wait for all the lights a dash to calm down then remove key, close door insert key into door and turn to the left and hold for 5secs then remove key and press the lock button on the remote......job done!!!

Didnt work. Fob lights up but doesnt link. When you say hold key to left thats locking the door any way. Then remove key and press lock (the car is already locked). That correct?
