Can anyone recommend a tyre alignment centre around Hampshire? I normally use Micheldever tyres but want to see if I can find a lower price!

Personally I'd stick with what you know. I use Protyre in Fareham (which is part of the Protyre / Micheldever empire) and never had any problems with uneven wear. I've also used Micheldever in the past and again no complaints at all. £5 off voucher in the link below if it's of any help.......

I had my four wheel alignment done at Tyreland off West Quay road in Southampton, cost me £50 for a full four wheel alignment and camber check. I had it done within a week of getting the car. My car has Dunlops on so wanted to prolong their useless lifespan as long as possible.

I'd definately stick with Micheldever, they sorted out a long term problem I had with my old Fabia vRS even though it took three goes to get it 100% right. They always seem genuinely knowledgable which is not something that can be said for some other places.

FWIW protyre are owned by MD and the alignment and balancing I had done at MD, I got done again at Protyre FoC because it was that far out.

If you're happy with MD, then it means they have probably trained the staff again, which is good and if not the PT garages I've been to did a good job.

Another vote for Micheldever.

Wheel alignment is only ever as good as the operator and there are plenty of monkeys out there. Micheldever have done several (non VAG) alignment jobs for me without any problems. Why do people queue around the block there?

Pass because protyre can match the MD price, but it's got a reputation for cheap tyres, quickly.
