chiptuning

Featured Replies

Hi

I've got a Superb 2011mod (4x4, automatic and 140HK).

How will a chip tuning affect the Automatic gearbox and the 4x4 transmission? Would I have to upgrade the SW for hte automatic gearbox or is it as simple as to just put in the box and drive out happy (I presume not!). Any Ideas?

This will invalidate your warranty you fool. DONT DO IT

i would recommend you go to a proper mapper and have them map the car properly

i.e

r-tech

revo

jabba

shark

etc etc

dont skimp on a car you just spent xxxxx on as a poor chip/ map will kill it

Thank's for comments.

I'm trying to find out how this will affect my car. Hopefully I will not be a fool :) The warranty issue I'm well aware of, but thank's anyway.

Regarding tuners I will go to a proffesional, but I was wondering if anybody could give some hint about how this will affect my car so I could get the best information up front (ref: being a fool :))

It won't affect the gearbox, it just shortens the time between shifts:)
