Remap £175

Featured Replies

Remap question, when you get a remap, does the car lose it's massive lump of torque at low revs? Iv been offered an angel remap for £175 as part of a bulk deal with four cars, seriously considering it....

Kind of, but it feels better as there's more power up the high end...

You will just get a bigger lump of torque at 2500 lol

Depends on how it's mapped.

Depends on how it's mapped.

True lol

Wel if it's a good map! Lol

As others have mentioned it depends... And just because it's a "generic" map, doesn't mean they can't tweak it for you here and there. Best to have a discussion/e-mail exchange with them, then you can lose your worries. Mine was remapped with torque limited at 20K, it's now well over 60K on the original clutch.

Depends what you call a good map :)

Some people up the fueling across the whole rev range. Some don't.

I had a "generic" map on the fiat from angel, was a bit down on ultimate power compaired to some, but was over 150bhp for almost all the speace from 2k to 4.5k!! very usable. It also did 100k+ without blowing anything up
