I think that email refers to the +35bhp mod that is only being offered to a selected few customers. You must be lucky in being one of the selected ones!

I use iPod via MDI on mine but tried out the SD when I got it and seemed faster than the iPod

BTW I was in Cork 3.5 weeks ago and kept my eye out didn't see you vectra1 and I did think of ll the members cars I could and areas in ROI saw a nice OctyII race blue in Wexford earlier that day 07 but not on here I don't think :(

Went to my dealers yesterday,

False alarm, My car is fully up to date .

They did say the update was something to do with the dash ( maxidot ) display

Thats incorrect, the gear assistant is present even in the normal white display, i have seen it myself..

Does that depend on which option you have displayed?

I normally leave mine at the consumption screen.

Must fiddle with it tomorrow and check if it has gear display

it will be displayed on the top right of the display always, no option to turn it off
