Wing Mirror Adjustment

Featured Replies

Just wondered if anyone could give me any assistance with an electric wing mirror adjuster problem I have.

Basically, if I choose to alter the passenger side mirror then it moves as expected, but if I choose to adjust the drivers mirror both it and the passenger one move. This obviously makes setting them a nightmare.

I'm assuming this isn't some special feature I have yet to see the point of and down to dodgy wiring somewhere. As I hate electrics I was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction.

Thanks

That's how it's supposed to work :)

Same with mine lol so I usually adjust the one that moves both first to suit then adjust the one on it's own

Doh, ok

I don't suppose there is any way to change it.

I only actually noticed it last week after herself was driving my vrs

Yes, but you need VCDS to do it.

Mine is the same but I was told it can be set different.

I'll have to add it to my list of things to do when I get access to vcds.

Thanks
