Rear arb clamp failed

Featured Replies

Bought a rear anti roll bar (from jabba sport) for the back of my wife's fabia a year or 2 ago. I have been impressed with the handling improvements it gives - car seems to wallow without it.

Though the other day i was dkriving it and noticed it didn't feel quite like it normally does - when i looked underneath i found one of the big band clamps had failed were the spot welds are and now the arb only had the one clamp.... May be all right for corners in just one direction? :)

Have taken it all off now - if the other one went it would make a right old mess and make for some exciting driving.

Suggest if anyone else has a similar thing, you have a look and check the condition of these camps !

What make was it? I got a whiteline and it's rusty as f*ck!

Not sure of the make - it came from jabba sport - thats all i remember. Mine has lost most of the powder coating on the actual bar though - meaning it is getting pretty orange

Have you called and spoken to Brian at Jabba yet?

I had to replace both of mine on my old eibach when I sold it to Lloyd as the one was breaking apart on the spotwelds.

Two new bolts and clamps = £15 delivered. 5 mins, work all sorted.
