Was wondering do the front wheels have to come off while replacing clutch and flywheel? Also, how long to take it easy after clutch fit have read 500 miles of 'stop start' driving?

Running in should be around 500 miles of stop start driving as you said, but no high RPM launches, no drag racing, no riding the clutch on hills, etc. Basically 500 miles of being an absolute saint should run it in nicely and set you up for many more miles of more fun driving.

No the wheels can be left on whilst taking the box out.
