Replaced my air vents on my VRS I got the vents off e bay they came off a Fabia sport, when the centre vent (VRS) was taken out of the car it is very easy to spray your self as it come apart very easy and then no masking up IS needed, same with the side vents.

The side vents will just pop out if you put a credit card at the bottom and twist 10 seconds job, couldn’t work out how to remove the centre one so the dealer replaced this for me at a cost of £36 for 15 mins work.

If anybody dose this and can remove the centre vent please let use know how to do it as I would like to put my original one back in (sprayed) as the one I got off e bay is damaged.

I got a suspicion that the center vent to come off needs the climate/aircon unit to come off. Just I guess from photos I've seen somewhere else.

What are you planning to do about the door handles etc?

I really want to do my sport edition vents but haven't decided what color. Probably black gloss or black/chrome.

I really miss the lovely chrome door handles from the Mk 1. Not too sure about sprayed silver vents and handles. IMHO gloss black would look great.

Nice improvement it does brighten up the interior

I'm also considering this - it is very flexible and it comes in many colors plus you can remove it if you get bored with it without messing with the original finish.

well you can get the LED superb china rear lights from your dealer , not sure about the handles

I like those air vent ones, not sure about the cd player one. Maybe gloss black would be better
