Anyone found mud guards for the vrs?

Featured Replies

Look at all the pics of rear fitted mudflaps...if there was an issue someone would have said!! Er the front flaps are LOWER than the rears as well!!

The exhaust would ground before the flaps. I don't understand why there is an advisory about fitting these to the vRS Estate??? :( Mine fit fine

I think it may be due to MK 2 Octavia VRS's which the dealers have always said rear's don't fit, so as soon as anyone says "Rear mud flaps and Vrs" in the same breath it automatically a No.

As an aside, you can fit rear mud flaps to an Octy Vrs

No worries. I'll order the rears on eBay

Taking delivery of hatch VRs 180 next weekend and dealer has quoted £150 fitted for front and rear mudflaps. That makes it nearly £110 labour charge!

Maybe I will just remove my old set from my pt ex Vrs 180 and reduce the mortgage on my fuel account.

Just had my second vRS180 delivered and both had standard Skoda mud flaps fitted with no problems or modifactions needed.

Dealer also believed Accessories handbook that they were not suited to vRS but I told them to ignore the book and they fit fine. In fact on my new Black vRS they look very smart !!! Fitted price front and rear £70.

After a recomndation from someone else on this firum (sorry forgotten who) I bought some mudflaps from an eBay seller based in Hong Kong (seller name = topupauto).

They were about £15 delivered, unfortunately one arrived damaged, but the seller sent me a replacement at no extra cost. So for the price is be happy to recommend them
