Anyone found mud guards for the vrs?

Featured Replies

Well the mud flaps dont fit the vrs apparently so I was wondering if anyone knows an aftermarket set that will fit & look decent.

I would imagine that the front mud flaps would fit, since its the same as the standard car? Just the rears would be different

I thought the standard ones fit fine. There is not difference on the body is there?

HAVE STANDARD ONES ON MINE £42 (£21 SET)FROM DEALER, FITTED IN ABOUT 30 MINS NO NEED TO TAKE WHEELS OFF NO DRILLING REQUIRED REMOVE 3 SCREWS ALREADY THERE, HOLD MUD FLAP IN PLACE AND REPLACE SCREWS

so the standards do fit the vrs? The description on them from the skoda cataloge says they dont fit the RS version?

They do fit but need some modification. Have a search here it has been spoken about a fair few times. Someone did explain how he had to cut the rear bumper to make them fit properly

If you look close you can almost see mine in the picture, dealer fitted them without any issues.

I fitted the standard ones to the front of mine no problem.

The rear bumper must be different on the estate. Can't see why people would have cut their bumpers with no reason to.

Anyone have the part number for the rears for the estate? I've ordered front ones but my dealer said rears weren't available for the vRS

Thats good news they fit the estate, but can someone please confirm with the hatchback?

Gutted I forgot to take them off my old mk1 fabia before I traded it in!

Agree I've got the genuine skoda mudflaps on my VRS no problem. If you have the black pack though and having looked at a friends monte they don't look as though they will fit!

How's that? The only difference is the lights & grill with the black pack.

Edit:

Just ordered a set of front & rear mud guards for the 2007- Fabia, will report back if they fit.

Now's the question, do I wrap them in carbon fibre vinyl if they fit...

THEY DO FIT!!!

I think sometimes (probably most of the times) the forums confuse than help.

The mudflaps fit whether you got a Fabia MKII or a Fabia MKII vRS!

......lol

Right just been to the dealers to have a look at the car (see sig). I asked about mudflaps and they said fronts fit but rears don't because of the suspension :wonder:. How exactly? How low do they go and would they touch the road or anything else if there was weight in the back? Push comes to shove I'll buy some on eBay and fit myself. Just as long as it doesn't invalidate anything. Can't see how though
