Private Plate for SALE: FA57 VRS

Featured Replies

£450?

That's all I can justify. I know it's a low offer but its been for sale for a while so if you want the cash it's here waiting.

Thanks for your interest Andy. I have turned down a few offers higher than that already.

I'm in no rush to sell, hence why it has been on sale for the 9 months since i changed car

and is on retention for 2 years - i will wait for the offer which is worth due consideration.

So spend your cash wisely....elsewhere.

Thanks for the reply.

Whether spending money on 'vanity' plates could ever be considered wise is perhaps debatable, but I am now £405 poorer and the DVLA is £405 richer!

Good luck with the sale.

Seen this post way back :-) would think someone would have jumped at it.

But was thinking have you dropped into any local skoda dealers?

That would be a hell of a nice plate from then to show of the vrs cars with on the forcort?? and would thay not pay the top end price for it?

Been stopped a couple of times by Skoda reps - but dont think any dealers feel flush enough to buy....

Shame really. I think it would help sales figures if this was put on all new VRS demonstrators going through.

Seeing as today I became the proud new owner of its original home I think you

should just send me the plates so I can put them back where they belong! :o)

Fantastic car :-)

Yes indeed. I have to say, part of the reason I was so keen on the car was seeing your history with it on here. Your hard work still shines through... literally! The paintwork is still great. A new windscreen, a pair of scuffed alloys to be repaired and some stone chips to address and she'll be mint again!

I must commend you on your spec choice as well. The seat warmers came in very handy today and I still have the Bluefin to look forward to!

Thanks for the comments mate!

Never went thru a car wash in the 3 years I had her and was cleaned by by me every week and lots of chrome and led details added.

She is a great car and wanted for nothing when I owned her. Hope to see you at a Bruskoda meet at some point.

Bluefin plus Carbonio intake gave a nice performance boost too :-)

I'm just the same. Never use a car wash and these £5 hand washes make me cringe! "30 peoples crud scratched into your paint sir? That'll be a fiver!"

I found 2 of the chrome detail rings under the seats so they went straight back on. I also need to replace both led's in the rear numberplate. (I don't suppose you can recall your source by any chance?) The Bluefin isn't currently installed but I have the unit ready for when I'm feeling naughty!

Having picked her up yesterday I'm now trying to work through the Columbus without a manual. What a great piece of kit that is! The internet is proving handy.

Just need to figure out the whole firmware/software business and see how up to date I am with maps etc.

I was looking for the best VRS to be found.... and I'm thinking I did!

I grinned so much on the drive home I gave myself a headache!

Rest assured she's in safe hands and I'll keep up the good work!

Yes - i know the air con chrome rings were annoying to fall off; but

i never wanted to superglue them on. I think their are improved versions

out there.

On the LED number plate lights - as i recall they are 36mm festoon type.

Ebay is cheap enough....look at these:-

  • Author

Thanks for ur interest. Swap not an option for me.

I'm in no rush to sell and get back my investment.

It is on RegTransfers as well but their commission and fees do make it expensive.
